A philological study of acupuncture therapy on distocia

Abstract

|
Purpose :This study was aimed to find out the acupuncture therapy on distocia in oriental medicine
Methods :We surveyed the 20 oriental medical books that have articles Distocia
Results :1. Acupuncture points used for distocia in ancient literature are Samu mgyo(SP6), Hapkok(LI4), Chiu m,(BL67), Kollyun(B60), T aech ung(Liv3), Ko gwol(CV14), Kich ung(S30), Chungbong(Liv4) 2. Acupuncture points used for distocia in modern literature are Samu mgyo(SP6), Hapkok(LI4), Chiu m(B67), Chok-Samni(S36), Palnyo(B31~B34), Toku m, Kwanwon (CV4), T aech ung(Liv3), Nae-gwan(P6), Kihae(CV6), Kyo njo ng(SI9), T ae-gye (K30), Puryu(K7) 3. Samu mgyo(SP6), Hapkok(LI4) have been significantly together used corelatedly in acupuncture therapy on distocia 4. In acupuncture therapy on distocia there are lots of acupuncture points that are improper to use. It is assumed to be because of maintaining pregnancy and differance in diliverence mechanism
